Gregory R. Jackson, Ph.D., Joins Life Sciences Greenhouse Investments

Harrisburg, PA - Life Sciences Greenhouse Investments (www.LSGPA.com) is pleased to announce that Gregory R. Jackson, Ph.D., will be joining the organization on June 1st. Greg will serve as Executive Vice President. Among his responsibilities will be identification of new investment opportunities and conducting due diligence, as well as mentoring and monitoring performance of portfolio companies.

Greg was Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of MacuLogix, Inc., an ophthalmic medical device company that was acquired by LumiThera, Inc., in 2022. Dr. Jackson has a total of 19 years’ experience in the medical device industry.

“Greg’s experience as a Founder, CSO and academic researcher combine to make him exceptionally well-qualified for the role of Executive Vice President,” said LSG Investments President & CEO, Michele Washko. We are excited about the fresh perspective and unique knowledge base that he’ll be bringing to the organization.

Prior to co-founding MacuLogix, Greg spent 15 years in academic medical research, most recently as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Penn State College of Medicine from 2007 to 2014. Greg began his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
